CALCIUM CARBONATE (MEDIUM)
Description
Calcium carbonate ( CaCO3 ) is an acid soluable, bridging and weighting agent for drilling, work over and completion fluids. DDC Calcium Carbonate is available in three recomended grades. Fine , Medium and Coarse . Fine is used as a weighting material for drilling and work over fluids . Medium and Coarse grades are generally used for bridging or can be used for a weighting material with a larger particle size.

Usage
To increase Mud Weight using calcium carbonate :
2700(SG2 – SG1) ÷ (2.7 – SG2) =kg calcium carbonate / 1000 litres
SG1 = Starting Mud Weight
SG2 = Desired Mud Weight
Packaging
DDC Calcium Carbonate could packaged in 25 kg or 50 kg multi-walled paper bags, 1 mt or 1.5 mt Big Bags.
