DDC CMC- LV
Description
DDC CMC LV is a dispersible, low viscosity sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and is used to improve the fluid loss control of water base muds without increasing the viscosity. It can be used in fresh water or sea water mud systems.

It meets or exceeds API 13A Section 9 and OCMA DFCP 2 specifications.

Specifications
Physical Appearance Off – white powder
pH ( %1 solutions ) 7 - 10
Bulk Density 500 – 800 kg/m3
Solubility in water Soluable

Usage
DDC CMC LV is used to control the fluid loss in dispersed and non-dispersed drilling fluid systems.
DDC CMC LV concentrations in the range of 1.4–11.4 kgs/m3 are normally required to provide fluid loss control in most water base systems. The actual concentration utilized is dependent upon the drilling fluid composition and properties specified.

Packaging
DDC CMC LV could packaged in 25 kg multi-wall paper sacks
